The Town Board approved planned development district zoning for the 395-unit Gurba Estates Thursday over the objection of the town attorney, whose firing Troy developer John A. Gurba demanded at the previous Town Board meeting.
Councilman Arthur Baker made a motion that the Town Board approve the district on the condition that the state Health Department approve the development's water supply and the town not be obligated to provide water to the development.
