NSW: Man assaulted, robbed in south-western Sydney park
SYDNEY, Dec 2 AAP - A man has been treated for stab wounds after being assaulted androbbed in a south-western Sydney park early this morning.
The 26-year-old man was sitting in a parked car with a 19-year-old woman at BradburyOval, near Campbelltown, about 1am (AEDT) when they were approached by three men, policesaid in a statement.
One of the men smashed a car window, dragged the man from the car and assaulted him, police said.
The man was stabbed in the leg with a knife and had an amount of cash, audio equipmentand a mobile phone stolen before his attackers fled the scene.
He drove to Campbelltown police station to report the incident, and was taken to Campbelltownhospital for treatment.
The woman was uninjured.
The man's attackers were described as being aged between 17 and 20, with two beingof Pacific Islander appearance and the third of white/European appearance.
