NSW: Man charged with murder of woman near sleeping children

SYDNEY, Feb 23 AAP - A 47-year-old man was tonight charged with the murder of a woman
in a Sydney unit as her three children slept nearby.

Police found the body of the 39-year-old woman in the study of the unit at suburban
Asquith after a man called police about 1.15am (AEDT) today.

Police who went to the home found the woman's children - two girls aged five and seven
and a boy aged three - asleep in their beds.
